Sabra, about 6 km southwest of Petra's centre, is an outlying Nabataean and Roman site with a bath complex, water channels and a Byzantine church — almost always deserted.
A 4x4 track reaches it; check conditions locally. Travellers who hire car & driver in Jordan can add it as a half-day detour, and full package tours to Jordan rarely include it.
